Subject: Report of activities, Week Ending March 18, 1933
- Repaired Vickers water-cooled gun for use in ground instruction. Fired 100 rounds through gun at butts; found gun satisfactory.
- Conducted 3 classes of radio
buzzer practice; average attendance
16 flight commanders; average
lesson length, 30 minutes. Demonstrated
correct method of receiving and
printing characters. Class slow
generally, but showing gradual
improvement.
- Submitted for translation an aerial gunnery course for fixed guns; also gunnery range rules and safety precautions.
- Submitted practice gunnery course for flexible guns.
- Submitted plan for miscellaneous
range equipment and targets for
flexible machine guns.
- Submitted a list of equipment
needed for armament. Have at
present received and stored in
armament room in G.H.Q. one-third
of the equipment mentioned.
- Submitted for translation Gunnery
and Dive Bombing Range Details
with duties of each man enumerated.
- Submitted plans for Aerial Gunnery and Dive Bombing Score Cards.
