Subject: Report of Activities, week ending April 1, 1933
- Conducted three one-hour classes of instruction on the Vickers gun for Squadron Armament mechanics
- First lecture on Gunnery given to the Masses pilots class, Tuesday, March 28th.
- Submitted plans for fabric machine gun covers to Chief of Staff.
- Made an inspection of machine guns in storage.
- Inspected Tiger Moth airplanes for gunnery mounts. Found that with few changes they can be used for aerial gunnery and dive bombing.
- Checked progress made in construction
of bobbing targets. Assembly
and addition of a few parts are
all that is necessary to complete
these targets.
- Checked progress made in construction of aerial gunnery targets. One completed, and found work to be highly satisfactory.
- Acted as Judge on Competitive Ground Drill, Graduating Class, Cadet School, Friday March 31st. Also attended graduation exercises, Saturday, April 1st.
- Made inspection and check (with Leut. Terrill) of all live bombs stored on airdrome.
