Subject: Report of Activities, Week ending April 15, 1933.

  1. Conducted two lectures on Lewis Machine Gun for Aerial Gunners and Squadron Armament Mechanics class.
  2. Conducted two lectures on Gunnery for Massed Class of Pilots.
  3. Gave test covering lectures to date. Corrected papers and results recorded. Satisfactory.
  4. Conducted one lecture on Radio Code Familiarity for Massed Class of Pilots.
  5. Assisted in completing Flying Test of Flight Commanders.
  6. Made flight in Travel-Air for purpose of familiarization.
  7. Two periods of flying instruction with class of flying instruction with class of seven Flight Commanders. Report of progress submitted daily to Chief of Staff.
  8. Tested Bobbing Targets. Satisfactory.
  9. Selected site for Range Officers dugout at Aerial Gunnery Range.
  10. Inspection made of Travel-Air used for instruction purposes.
  11. Attended meeting of Instructors and Interpreters.
