Subject: Report of Activities, Week Ending April 22, 1933.

  1. Five morning periods and one afternoon period of flying instruction with class of seven Flight Commanders. Report of progress submitted daily to Chief of Staff.
  2. Conducted one lecture on Gunnery for Massed class of Pilots.
  3. Changed gun mounting on Rocking Fuselage to fit Vickers water-cooled machine gun. Additional attachment necessary now under construction.
  4. Flew Tiger Moth with Lieut. Terrill for purpose of testing practice bombs. Malfunction of Bomb Rack prevented completion of test.
  5. Inspection made of TravelAir used in instruction.
  6. Prepared lecture outline for Massed Class of Pilots for week beginning April 24, 1933.
  7. Attended conference of Instructors and Interpeters
