- Delivered 15th Gunnery Lecture to Massed Pilots Class.
- Delivered 11th Gunnery Lecture
to Class of Graduated Cadets
at School.
- Conducted four afternoon periods
of Aerial Gunnery at Range with
class of six Flight Commanders.
Completed Instructions and firing
on Left Approach. Will begin
Right Approach next week. Report
of progress submitted daily to
Commanding Officer and Chief
of Staff.
- Conducted four morning periods of Instruction at Lectures Hall with Class of six Flight Commanders. Study of scores, Review of previous days Gunnery with detailed instructions for correction of mistakes made, and Instructions for days work.
- Twenty five members of Massed Pilots Class completed classes in Stoppages and Rocking Fuselage. Checked progress at Butts. Satisfactory. Report of progress submitted to me daily.
- Made inspection of synchronizing
gear on Curtiss Hawk. Stoned
down sharp edges on Operating
Plunger as recommended by factory.
Mechanics given instruction so
that they can continue work.
- Prepared, and submitted for translation, Schedule of Aerial Gunnery for week, July 3 -- July 8, 1933.
