- Delivered 19th Gunnery Lecture to Massed Pilots Class.
- Gave examination to Class of Graduated Cadets at School. Papers corrected with the following results:

- Conducted four afternoon periods of Aerial Gunnery at Range with class of Six Flight Commanders. Began rear approach this week. Report of progress submitted daily to Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff.
- Conducted five morning periods of instruction at Lecture Hall. Class attended by six Flight Commanders and one section of Group II Pilots each day. Study of Scores, Review of previous days Gunnery, Instructions for days work, and Explanation of course to new students.
- New program of Morning and Afternoon Machine Gun Firing at Butts started this week. Classes in Advanced course in Stoppages and Rocking Fuselage given [to] all sections of Group II Pilots. Graduated Cadets from School given Primary instruction one morning period. Progress satisfactory.
- Gave special Instruction and training to Lt. F.O. Mar. Developing him as another instructer for use at Machine Gun Butts.
- Made inspection to discover cause of bullet striking propellor of Gunnery Ship. Made detailed examination and test of Machine Gun, Trigger Motor, and Syncronising Gear. All fuctioning perfectly. Cause of bullet striking propellor blade-- Poor Primer in shell casinf causing a Hang Fire.
- Having two Sight Bars made after pattern of C-4 Bar on Curtiss Hawk. To be used on Gunnery Ships.
- Prepared, and submitted for translation, Schedule of Aerial Gunnery for week, July 24 -- July 29, 1933.
