Week Ending, August 26, 1933

  1. Delivered one Gunnery Lecture to class of Graduated Cadets at School. Began instruction on Browning Machine Gun.
  2. Gave Final written Examination on Browning Machine Gun to Massed Pilots Class.
  3. Two early morning periods grading Group II Pilots on Accuracy flying. Grades submitted to Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff.
  4. Conducted four afternoon periods of Dive Bombing at Range with class of six Flight Commanders. Report of progress submitted daily to Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff.
  5. Conducted one morning period and two short afternoon periods of Instruction at Lecture Hall with class of six Flight Commanders. Grading of Group II flying prevented further morning periods.
  6. Prepared lectures on E-4 synchronizing gear to be given to Massed Pilots class. Dismantled and prepared E-4 gear for use in Instruction.
  7. Cadets at School attended four morning periods of Primary Stoppages and Rocking Fuselage at Machine Gun Butts.
  8. Prepared Schedule of Aerial Gunnery for new class of Flight Commanders for week, August 28 -- September 2, 1933.
